My surgery went very well I'm told! I currently have a big bubble in my vision that's supposed to go away in 4ish days. What was not enjoyable was that I was CONSCIOUS for the entire surgery! Gah! Thankfully they didn't tell me that prior to surgery day. They put me under semi-deep anesthesia until the doctor put a shot of novocaine into my optic nerve on the back of my eye š³š. And then they brought me out of semi-deep anesthesia and continued with the surgery. So while I couldn't see anything I was conscious and was supposed to tell them if I needed to cough or sneeze. I mean.....really?!? I didn't have to cough or sneeze, the 30 ish minutes felt like 5 and now I'm just praying that they fixed everything they needed to! Ashley is continuing to cover for me this week - thank you! I'll be back next week! ā¤ļøCarie

So glad it went well! But I definitely would not have wanted to be conscious during that. Prayers for a speedy recovery.
